THE DCB GROUP
A Driving Force
The DCB Group, Inc., formerly DCB Productions, Inc., was founded in 1994 by Deb Belinsky and Cheryl Benson-Guanci. The impetus for the development of the company derived from a growing need in professional sports to provide entertainment “value for the dollar” experiences for the guest, while maintaining the integrity of the same itself and for the athletes involved. It is with this philosophy that DCB strove to create the comprehensive and seamless presentation known as the sport entertainment experience.
DCB took this philosophy to the National Hockey League’s Winnipeg Jets Hockey Club.
Virtually unknown, Deb and Cheryl were granted the opportunity to demonstrate their philosophy and skills, and produced one game for the Winnipeg Jets. The opportunity proved that their philosophy delivered on its promise of elevating the game experience for all owners, players, and ultimately the guests. Disney Sports Enterprises president, Tony Tavares admired their approach in respecting the integrity of the same, and signed DCB to produce and direct games for the Anaheim Mighty Ducks.
Sports’ most trend-setting entertainment concepts started with THE DCB GROUP
Throughout its 18 years, DCB had consulted on, produced and directed over 3,500 shows. For elite professional sport leagues including the NBA, NHL, MLB, NFL, NCAA and other associations, DCB has been the driving force behind developing trend-setting entertainment concepts in North America.
DCB developed several of sports’ most trend-setting entertainment concepts that are used to this day, including the Bazooka Gun (aka the T-Shirt Gun), video board animations , special lighting/visual effects, flame towers, and memorable promotional giveaways familiar to anyone who’s attended live sports.
DCB also produced some of the most prestigious events such as UCLA’s John Wooden Classic NCAA Tournament for eight years, the World Junior Hockey Championship, and the NCAA’s Frozen Four. DCB was Executive Producer of the 1996 World Figure Skating Championships Gala Skate Program, Executive Producer for the Steve Nash Foundation Charity Classic Game, and Associate Producer of the 2006 World AIDS Conference.
Additionally, DCB was the Owner and Executive Producer of EnterSport, a sports entertainment production conference for three consecutive years.

“DCB was a big part of launching and developing my Foundation’s Charity Classic Event. Deb and her team put together scripting and activation to a by-the-second-run- of-show – that ensured a flawless execution of our other event producers, sponsors, athletes and performers. From a crowd perspective, DCB transformed a basketball game into an entertainment piece that sports fans and charity supporters alike could enjoy ... and they make if fun for everyone. Deb is the kind of professional you want to work with, and I’ll look forward to working with The DCB Group again.”
